Godwin Facility Services started in 2017 as a Mississippi-based commercial cleaning company. In 2021, we became one of the first customers of Lucid Bots — the manufacturer of the Sherpa cleaning drone — and rebuilt our entire operation around drone-powered exterior cleaning years before it became an industry trend.
Today, pressure washing, softwashing, window cleaning, and power washing aren't separate services we happen to also offer — they're methods we deliver through the drone platform, on the buildings where ground equipment, lifts, and scaffolding fall short. That's the difference between a cleaning company that added a drone and a drone-cleaning company that does it all.
That head start shows in the work: a 16-story casino tower cleaned entirely from the roof down, a 103-year-old sugar refinery cleaned without a single day of shutdown. Five years of real drone-cleaning experience is not something a competitor can shortcut.

Godwin Facility Services was founded by Ryan Godwin in 2017. In 2021, he became one of the first customers of Lucid Bots — maker of the Sherpa cleaning drone — at a time when drone-powered exterior cleaning barely existed as a category. That early adoption has since been recognized directly by Lucid Bots, who have featured Ryan's work on projects like the Golden Moon Casino tower at Pearl River Resort and the historic Domino Sugar factory in Baltimore.
